New 2012 Winter Rates
Our new 2012 Winter rates are now in effect, click here to view the current Rates/Fees. It is a great rate and a great time to start working on the game for Spring.
Our 2nd Monthly Open tournament is scheduled for Saturday, February 11th (02/11/2012) at 10:00am. Unfortunately, our January tournament had to be cancelled due to inclement weather. We had a very good crowds for the November and December tournaments, and everyone seemed to have a good time. Participants in the tournament will get a $5.00 weekend discount. So plan on coming out for the February tournament, meet other golfers, and have fun.
When the RGA Monthly Open Tournament is fully ramped up, participants could be flighted in "A" (best golfers, lowest handicap), "B", or "C" flights. Each flight could, therefore, have winners. Participants will also have the opportunity to track a handicap. Another possibility for 2012 is to have running points standings (based on finishing position each month) for each flight, with an eventual 2012 RGA Open Tournament Champion for each flight.
These events will have a limited number of openings...so if you are planning to play Saturday, December 10th at 10:00am...call the proshop (919-772-9987) to reserve your spot or email your confirmation to play to rgamarketing@rgagolf.net.
Limited Stockholder Opportunity:
RGA is a stockholder-owned golf course which has been in operation since its incorporation in 1929. The stockholders operate the golf course through a board of directors and a number of committees (the members of which are stockholders appointed by the board president).
For a limited period of time and for a limited number of available share opportunities, the board of directors has authorized the waiver of the $3,000 initiation fee This limited opportunity reduces the cost of purchasing a share to $7,500 plus annual dues of $600 (prorated for the first year). RGA offers a financing option. This plan provides for a payment of $2,500 on board approval, $2,500 on the first anniversary of approval, and the remaining $2,500 on the second anniversary of approval. A nominal interest charge will be incurred for the finance option.
Additional benefits of being a stockholder include unlimited play on the private stockholder 9 holes, spouse and children under 18 pay no green fees, a 25% golf cart discount, weekly stockholder (and guest only) tournaments, etc.
